31 Last Day Of the Month

I'm going to be soooo busy this week with my new project at work, month end close, family, and a party at the end of the week!

The Britney concert was really good. I was a bit disappointed that there was no screen so we could see her up close and personal, I would be really mad if I had the nose bleed seats, but we didn't. They had a screen, but it was part of her show and would play different clips of footage, and not show her performing as it was happening. Her costumes were great and the dancers were amazing (of course!). I have to say though....it was no NKOTB! *You're right Zuzuli! But, I know that's my totally boy crazy self thinking. I saw her before on her Onyx Hotel tour and I personally thought that was better, but this was still a great show.

On to the outfit:
Tuesday's Outfit
Blue lace cami - Old Navy
Blue v-neck - Old Navy
Herringbone pants - Old Navy
Black peep wedges - Payless
Silver necklace - NY and Co

This shirt does not have ruching on it, but it kind of ruches on it's own because of the material...I look a little bumpy and lumpy in the picture, but it's really fine IRL.

Have a great day!

26 Thursday Outfit

I'm so thankful the weekend is almost here! Tonight the BF and I are going to meet up with some friends for drinks and then go see Les Miserables...I can't wait. Les Mis has been on my "want to see" list for a long, long time so it should be good. No idea what I'm going to be wearing to the show, but I'm sure it will be a dress or skirt.

I love this shirt from Banana Republic! Even though for today's outfit, I have the sleeves covered, they're these cute flutter sleeves that just give the shirt something more. I would have never thought I'd wear a shirt with stripes, but I think the thin stripes work. I also couldn't ever tell what color the stripes were. When I put black against the shirt, it looks black, but it also could be a super dark navy. Today when I took a picture of the necklaces close up, it does appear the shirt is navy....yikes!

Thursday's Outfit
Stripe shirt - Banana Republic
Black pants - Target
Red ruffle cardi - Target
Polka dot scarf (as belt) - from Athena
Black ribbon pearl necklace - Target
Faux pearl necklace - Michael's with a black ribbon tied on by me
Black peep heels - Macy's

25 Eh...

Woke up late today...yikes! I read other blogs where you ladies say that putting on a dress is so easy for you and something you do when you're running late....not for me. Putting on a dress or skirt is so much effort! Did I shave my legs? Spanx or tights? Will my skirt ride up at all during the day? Too much for me, something like today's outfit is what I wear when I'm late...and the pic proves it...blurry! Since I have big hips and butt, sometimes the hem of my dress or skirt looks shorter in the back....I never wear short skirts to work, but I'm always afraid I'm going to be walking and the back is just going to ride all the way up to my butt!

Wednesday's Outfit
Purple ruffle shirt - Kohl's
Plaid pants - Target
Peep wedges - Payless

I hope tomorrow's outfit will be better planned!

24 Tuesday's Outfit

I love CAbi, but to tell you the truth, most of the reason I go to the CAbi show is to socialize. I think their clothes are very cute, but not so affordable. This cardigan was regularly $98, but since I got a hostess discount, I paid half price for it. It's nice and all, but it's not made out of any extraordinary material. In any case, a CAbi show is fun to see all the new designs and catch up with friends.

Tuesday's Outfit
Off white tank - Banana Republic
Black/off white cardigan - CAbi
Herringbone pants - Old Navy
Black peep shoes - Newport News
Necklace - Ann Taylor Loft

It's Been Too Long....

I know I said I would resume regularly scheduled posts, but I have good reasons on why I haven't quite yet...
#1 I started a new project at work and I've moved my office, been training, and been trying to learn new things...work gets in the way of blogging, people!
#2 The "great" ppl at AT&T disconnected my DSL a couple of weeks ago, I got it back and then they disconnected it again because I was going to get U-verse...uh, that didn't work out on their end and I have FINALLY gotten my internet back at home yesterday!!!
#3 I'm lazy...it's a fact
So, here's a pic of me and some of my new NKOTB friends at our meet & greet from Saturday, March 7th. I've only taken 1 outfit picture since then, but will take a picture of what I'm wearing today and post it sometime this weekend (I hope).
I hope everyone has a fabulous day!

Outfit Details:
White cami (looks like my bra, but it's a cami) - AGX
Purple/blue scoop neck shirt - Express ( I seriously have not shopped at Express since I was in college...a long time ago!)
Dark rinse jeans - Target (usual ones)
Black pleated shield cut out heel - gojane.com
Black and silver belt - Kmart (they don't have Kmart in Houston anymore, and I got this in South TX for all of $3!!!)

Don't Danny Wood and I look like we could be together? Ha!

12 No Outfit Post, But....

Back to regularly scheduled outfit postings tomorrow!

I had a fabulous time with my friends at both NKOTB shows in south Texas and Louisiana. Love them or hate them, they really do put on a fabulous show and I can't wait until they announce dates for their summer tour!

If you are interested in seeing any of the pictures or snippets of my favorite parts of the show, email me and I'll send you the link!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by my blog!

Be Back Soon...

Hey Everyone!

I won't be able to post until sometime next week, but I'll be wearing cute outfits until then!

I have a repair guy coming today to the house to figure out what's wrong with my internet connection and phone. I'm going out of town tomorrow to go to a NKOTB concert. I'll be back Sunday, for work on Monday. Then on Tuesday, I'm heading out of town again to Louisiana to go to another NKOTB concert that evening and I'll be back at work on Wednesday....busy, busy!

Have a great weekend and thanks for all your comments!

03 Tuesday Outfit

I'm glad it's colder than usual here in TX, so I can wear my new cape/coat! I had been watching this one online for quite a while. I tried one on exactly like this at Macy's, and it was very cute, but I didn't want to pay $120 when I had plenty of jackets/coats already. But, when I saw there was this one at Target.com, I really wanted one. I watched and waited and watched and waited and figured the clearance price of $11.24 was great! So, what do I do since it was such a great price? Order both the black and grey one! I might take the black one back since the grey is so dark. I know it's only $11.24, but I really don't need two (wow...I think this is a big moment for me!). I really should have worn long sleeves today, but oh well.

Check out my new pin from KT! I love it and this pin is no joke! Thanks, KT!

Tuesday's Outfit
Black turtleneck (ruched at sleeves and neck) - DressBarn
Herringbone pants - Old Navy
Black peep toe heels - Enzo, Macy's
Black belt - NY and Co
Pearl/gold pin - St. John from the fab KT
Grey cape - Target

Thanks for stopping by my blog...have a great Tuesday!

02 Monday's Outfit

I hope everyone's weekend was great, I had a packed schedule on Saturday, but it was fun!

So, I've been browsing more and more daily outfit/fashion blogs and really getting great ideas of how to put more outfits together, mostly the same kind of "uniform," but just a bit more of colors and pattern mixing I wouldn't have thought of on my own. I really love reading others blogs, so please feel free to let me know if you start a new one! I find new ones every week that I add to my google reader and if you'd like me to add you to my blogroll, just let me know.

A bit of pattern mixing again...wow, I'm getting brave! I really love this outfit and feel as if I'm straight out of a JCrew or Banana Republic catalog.

Monday's Outfit
Stripe flutter sleeve shirt - Banana Republic
White ruffle collar cardigan - Old Navy (super clearance $10!)
Black pants - Forth and Towne
Pink snakeskin belt - Target
Polka dot scarf - from Athena (wow, Athena...so many scarves and I haven't even worn all of them!)
Black wedge peep - Payless

I have a new accessory that I just received from KT for the Michelle Obama challenge on Thrifty Muse. It's a fab pearl pin/brooch that is gorgeous! Thanks, KT and I'll be wearing it sometime this week!
